Y4 Viking Day
We were all wearing Viking costumes. There were activities held in the hall so we went in and sat around the fire. The chief's wife was the one teaching us all about Vikings. She did an example of each activities before we got started. There was candle making, ink writing, painting, healing bags, necklaces and more. After each activity we were told some news about what had happened in the town, on the next activity we had to share the news we had just heard. In the afternoon we had some more ancient activities that we all took part in.
Some of the others practiced archery and at the end of Viking day we had a go at defence.
