Sports Provision

Opportunities to engage in a range of sporting activities is held in high regard at Butlers Court. From high quality PE lessons, through competitive and non-competitive inter school sporting opportunities to an extensive range of extra curricular activities we embrace the aims of:

1. Increased participation in sport.
2. Increased  general fitness of  children
3. Increased participation in competitive sport across three levels: within school (Level 1), inter school (level 2) up to County level (level 3). 

The school previously received £10450 directly from the Government to enhance the provision of School Sport. During the academic year 2017- 18 this sum has been increased to over £20,000 with approximately £16000 payable in this financial year. This extra funding will be focused on providing a facility to increase general fitness of the children by providing an all-weather track aimed at encouraging the children to take daily exercise in all weathers.

Target 2 will be prioritised for spending in 2018
