Football League Kids Cup
The first half of the season finished with the Football League Kid’s Cup organised by Wycombe Wanderers. In our league two goals apiece from Ted Jeffery and Teyte Smith gave us a 4-1 win over Iver. This was followed by a 1-0 victory over Sacred Heart with another goal from Ted Jeffery. Against Longwick the team totally dominated and three goals from Ted Jeffery, two from William McLaughlin and one from James Barrett gave us a 6-0 victory. Our final game was against Stoke Poges which was a tough exciting game with Ted Jeffery giving us an early lead before Stoke equalised late on, eliminating us as they had scored one more goal. However, the squad of William McLaughlin, Alex Hamilton, Ted Jeffery, Jack Smith, James Barrett, Teyte Smith, Tommy Evans and Jasper Patton could look back on a good morning’s work.
