Butlers Court School is a popular, high-achieving primary school in Beaconsfield, and we are seeking a highly motivated, caring and enthusiastic Family Liaison Officer and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to join our dedicated team.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about safeguarding children, supporting families and promoting the emotional wellbeing of pupils. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that children feel safe, supported and ready to learn, working closely with families, school staff and external agencies to help every child achieve their full potential.

The role combines safeguarding leadership with pastoral care, attendance support, family liaison and emotional wellbeing. Responsibilities will include managing safeguarding records through CPOMS, liaising with external agencies, supporting vulnerable pupils and families, coordinating emotional literacy interventions and helping to improve attendance. You will also contribute to the development of our ‘Bubble’ Nurture Room, providing a safe and supportive space for children to develop their wellbeing, social skills and ability to resolve conflicts.

Our school boasts a well-resourced and beautiful site with plenty of opportunities for outdoor learning, enrichment and extra-curricular activities.  We believe in providing excellent opportunities for professional development, ensuring that our staff feel supported and continue to grow in their roles. You can also expect a warm and welcoming environment, with a staff team that is dedicated to supporting one another.
