We will:
- Encourage your child to achieve their best in both learning and behaviour.
- Keep you informed about your child’s progress, curriculum plans, and school events.
- Provide a broad, engaging, and challenging curriculum that meets your child’s needs.
- Respond promptly and thoughtfully to concerns raised by parents or pupils.
- Respond to all non-urgent communications from parents within 48 hours during the working week.
- Set and mark regular homework to support your child’s learning.
- Work closely with you to support any special educational needs your child may have.
Our Expectations of Parents and Carers
We ask that you:
- Communicate openly with us about any issues or concerns that may affect your child.
- Treat all staff with respect and kindness in all forms of communication, including face-to-face conversations, emails, letters and phone calls.
- Ensure your child attends school regularly and arrives on time each day.
- Support our school’s behaviour policy and reinforce positive behaviour at home.
- Provide a quiet space and time for your child to complete homework.
- Ensure your child wears the correct school uniform and brings the necessary equipment.
- Encourage your child to read at home regularly.
- Attend parent meetings and discussions about your child’s progress.
