'Believe and Achieve Together'
A Poem by Archie and Tilly Kavanagh
My uniform and school shoes have gone to sleep for now,
My book bag is waiting at the door.
No teachers, no playground, no green group for me,
Everything changed so quickly.
Now my garden is my classroom, my sister and brothers my friends,
Ticking off my school tasks until horrible Coronavirus ends.
There are campfires, paper chains, walking out down country lanes.
So very many ways in which my daily life
has changed.
Thank you teachers and NHS for all you continue to do,
I guess it’s so long from us for now,
We will be back together stronger Butlers Court,
We must believe one day, somehow.
