'Believe and Achieve Together'

KS2 Sports Day

Our annual inter house KS2 sports day enjoyed a fine morning’s weather with the real heat of the day holding off until competition had finished. All the children were excited and ready for events, especially Misbourne, thanks to Monty's motivational winding up during house assembly. The children all competed hard keeping going to claim vital points for their houses or just to finish their races, all supported by an enthusiastic parental audience and their house mates. The event that seems to create the main anguish is the obstacle race with the final task to get a ball into a quoit with a hockey stick; you can see a competitor move from last to first as the ball frustratingly refuses to enter the ring. The final scores were:

Wye 99

Chess 102

Thames 154

Misbourne 179
