Year 3 Egyptian Day

At the beginning of November all the Year 3 children took part in Egyptian Day. We began our day learning how to do important Egyptian things like mummifying people, creating wax amulets and writing hieroglyphics. Once the children had become Egyptian experts, it was time to take part in a traditional Egyptian banquet. The children put on acting performances, dances and our Pharaoh and Queen were very happy! Unfortunately, Miss Archer and Miss Nagle were accused of poisoning the Pharaoh and sentenced to be buried in the sand and eaten by wild animals...
