Year 5 Cup
For the first game in the Year 5 Cup we travelled to Gerrards Cross, despite it having been quite wet and miserable for most of the day it cleared up and we had sunshine. Gerrards Cross were in control for the first part of the game, but then we settled into it and started to find the right pass and begin some great attack play. It was an end to end game with our midfield working really hard to track back and defend and then have the energy to go and attack. Unfortunately, we finished the half 1-0 down. However, this only motivated the team to score and with some quick passing and dribbling skills we managed to have a good amount of possession and increasing opportunities to score. We managed to get the equaliser and then got the second goal which secured us the victory. It was a very interesting game to watch and great sportsmanship between the two teams.
