Year 6 Cricket Team

The Y6 cricket team went to a County tournament on Thursday 21st June. Our first match was against Stoke Poges. We batted first getting an amazing 299 runs. We then bowled and our bowlers got many wickets leaving them with 226 runs. Our next match was against Gerrard’s Cross. This match was closer but with our batters getting 264 runs and then getting vital wickets in the last over; we won by 36 runs. We then played Iver A team and got 232 runs and then bowling them out for 17. We had played 3 matches and now needed to win our last match. In our last match we played Iver B team and scored an amazing 294 runs and after getting them out for 192 runs we had won the tournament and progressed through to the County Finals.
