Year 6 Pop-Up Books
A book project for Year 1.
The events this term did little to stop this long standing tradition at Butlers Court. At the start of the Summer term, Year 6 pupils were paired with Year 1 pupils to become book partners. Through the term, emails were exchanged to enable the Year 6s to establish friendships and discover reading interests and habits. Year 6 pupils used the information to plan and write a short story for their partners. The story was then published in a handmade book complete with illustrations and pop up mechanisms.
